A Day Retreat with Anthar Kharana "The Way of The Altars" Sat 9th September / 10am – 7pm (may be later) We are pleased to share with you that Anthar Kharana is returning to the Clophill Centre from his homeland in the Andean Jungle of Colombia to share with us a healing pilgrimage through the seasons of 2023. "The Way of the Altars" will be the third gathering of the program this year at the Clophill Centre. Continuing with the cycle of ancestral knowledge for modern times, in this ceremonial gathering, Anthar will delve into the importance of altars, their connection with our essence and their relationship with our ancestral memory. This knowledge serves as a guide map in which we can recognise where we are centred, where we have been walking and where we can potentially go with our creative capacity. We invite you to join us on this day where you will create your own altar and your medicine wheel accompanied by stories, live music, herbal medicines, plant wisdom and offerings in the Altar of sacred fire. It will be a day not to be missed, contact us soon to book as places will be limited. Anthar is also a Sundancer and a member of the Pachamama Native American Church. He started at an early age, guided by wise elders from his land and during the last 20 years of travels, Anthar have visited 16 countries, particularly active in the UK, leading retreats, conferences, workshops, ceremonies and concerts. As a music composer, he has created different inspirational music albums as well as being an active composer for several international dance and theater companies such as Protein Dance, Sinman Dance, Shewolf and Vocab Dance among others. Anthar is the director and founder of the Ancestral School in Colombia (Escuela Ancestral Colombia) and both Tribal Sound Healing and the Tambora Foundation in the UK and Colombia.
