"The Way of Sacred Smudging" will be the second of the three weekends at the Clophill centre. In this weekend you will dive into the art of sacred smudging "Limpia" teachings. This practices help us personally in our own lives, supporting cleansing, healing, clarity, intention and well being. You will learn how to connect to the great cleansing power of the sacred smokes as well as learning how to use different elements of the Plant Kingdom including leafs, resins, barks and roots and their properties. You will also understand the when, how, and why to use them for a particular intension. You will be given a smudging "Limpia" clay pot as well as all the material needed for the weekend included in your mystery box which you will receive on your arrival This transformational journey navigates the physical, emotional, mental and the spiritual aspects of the Medicine Wheel, an ancient knowledge of the Americas that helps us to identify our relationship with the elements of nature and the way we walk through the different seasons of life every year. During this pilgrimage you will experience ancestral sound journeys, ancient stories, music, movement, plant wisdom and practices that have helped many generations to develop the art of conscious creation. The 3 weekend retreats as well as the one day workshop of teachings are an opportunity to learn and deepen into ancient ways and practices, helping us to be in balance and good relationship with ourselves and the wider living world, enabling us to cultivate the unfolding of a meaningful life. ABOUT ANTHAR: Anthar Kharana Navarro native from Ocaña in the north of Colombia is a music composer, sound healing practitioner and ceremonial leader, guardian of medicines from the Muisca traditions of his land and guide of the tabaquero way. Anthar is also a Sundancer and a member of the Pachamama Native American Church. He started at an early age, guided by wise elders from his land and during the last 20 years of travels, Anthar have visited 16 countries, particularly active in the UK, leading retreats, conferences, workshops, ceremonies and concerts. As a music composer, he has created different inspirational music albums as well as being an active composer for several international dance and theater companies such as Protein Dance, Sinman Dance, Shewolf and Vocab Dance among others. Anthar is the director and founder of the Ancestral School in Colombia (Escuela Ancestral Colombia) and both Tribal Sound Healing and the Tambora Foundation in the UK and Colombia.
