THURSDAY 19TH JUNE / 7pm - 10pm Edinburgh Shamanic Centre - Balerno Lets welcome and prepare for the Summer Solstice immersing in an evening of Sound & Ceremony where Anthar will be sharing traditional songs and movements of the Americas, many of which will be used on the 21st of June at the Medicine Labyrinth Ceremony in the hills of Peebles (please ask for details about this) The Songs and Sacred Dances will be followed by a Sound Ceremony where you will be sitting or laying down travelling inwards to revise the way you have been walking your life. This day will be guided by Nahual Kan, The Snake, which brings us the gift of shedding the old skin to renew ourself as the sacred fire burns the old into ashes for a new life to come. This gathering will be held at the beautiful Shamanic Centre in Balerno, South West of Edinburgh, if you haven't been at the Shamanic centre before, please contact us to give you details on how to get there. Also would be great if we can organise some lifts from Edinburgh if you have a car with sit spaces to offer to others. FOR ANY ENQUIRES REGARDING THE FULL ADDRESS, PLEASE CONTAC THESE NUMBERS: Telephone: 0131 449 4467 or Text: 075 0443 8763 How to get to Balerno Village *Balerno is located in the South West of Edinburgh, 20 minutes by car from Edinburgh city centre, 30 min by bus from train station in the city centre, 10 minutes by taxi from Hermiston Gate train station, 15 minutes by taxi from the Airport, 10 minutes driving from the City bypass, 45 minutes by car from Glasgow city centre. *By bus from Edinburgh: busses 44 or 44A. From the City Centre it takes around 30 minutes in the bus to Balerno. Then it is a 30 minutes walk to us. You can text and check our availability to pick you up at the bus terminus in Balerno. *By car from Edinburgh: From the city centre in Edinburgh, go in the direction of Lanark Road West, pass Juniper Green and Currie villages. Balerno is the next Village. *By car from outside Edinburgh: Follow directions to A71. At Hermiston Gate Park and Ride roundabout turn left, at next roundabout pass Herriot What University on your right, keep going straight ahead up the hill pass another roundabout, keep going up the hill until you come to Main Road called Lanark Road West where you turn righ. Pass Currie village and Balerno is the next Village. *By train: Most trains will take you to the City Centre and from there you take the bus 44 or 44A which takes 30 minutes to get to Balerno. There are some trains that can take you to Curryhill station. Curryhill is a 10 min in the car from us and sometimes depending on our availability we can pick you up there. Most trains also stop at Hermiston Gate Train Station where you can take a taxi to Balerno which will take about 10 minutes. *From the airport: We are only 15 minutes from the airport and a taxi would costs around £20.
