ANCESTRAL PATHWAYS AND THE PLANT KINGDOM
Join us for a unique experiential journey through the four doorways of the medicine wheel and the wisdom of the Plant Kingdom. As we move together through the teachings of each of the cardinal directions we will be moving into deeper levels of relationship with the Plants and all their ancient secrets and uses. For six consecutive weekends we will meet for an afternoon gathering online on Saturday and on Sunday there will be one in the morning and another session in the afternoon. Saturdays starting at 2pm - 8pm Sundays at 10am - 5pm (One off Friday for the opening Ceremony on the 2nd Oct) THE PROGRAM INCLUDES: *Medicine Wheel *Plant Medicine and its relation with the different doors of life *Master Plant teachings *Medicine Music & Stories *Sacred ritual tools making *individual outdoor experiences As we move through each direction you will receive a secret box in the post each week with different materials and symbols that will aid your journey through the week of personal exploration. This journey will give you a map to help you to navigate through life and ways to cultivate deeper and more meaningful relationship with the Plant Kingdom and with our own life. FACILITATORS: *ANTHAR KHARANA A native Colombian from Ocaña (N.S), is a medicine man, music composer and professional sound therapist also member of the UK Institute of Natural and Complementary Medicines. Anthar comes from a long family line of musicians and is the guardian of different ancestral medicines since he was 14 years old, guided by different wise indigenous elders from Colombia and America. Anthar is also a keeper of Chanupa and Inipi and a Sun dancer of the Lakota lineage of Leonard Crow Dog. In the last 18 years of traveling the world, Anthar has shared the wisdom of the Sacred Fire and the Ancestral Sound and their connection with the animal and plant kingdom. He runs traditional ceremonies, workshops, sacred music concerts, private healing sessions, conferences and retreats in various countries including Colombia, Chile, England, Scotland, Wales, Ibiza, USA, Indonesia, Poland, France, Portugal, Switzerland, Korea, Bali - Indonesia, Romania and Italy. As a music composer, he has created different inspirational music albums as well as being an active composer for several international dance and theatre companies such as Protein Dance, Sinman Dance and Vocab Dance among others. Anthar is the Director of the Tambora Foundation and Tribal Sound Healing in the UK and Colombia. Kim specialises in wilderness awareness skills and guides people into deeper relationship with the wider living world through the Art Of Mentoring. She has a passion for native crafts, survival skills, animal tracking, Ethnobotany, Entomology, Dendrology and Botany. Identifying Native plant species and understanding the interconnection of wildlife is a key skill as well as crafting healing remedies and interspecies communication. Kim currently mentors children and adults through core wilderness skills, routines and games to come back into relationship with our natural self. Over the course of 5 years she has also Co-Founded a community Herbal medicinal garden at the Clophill centre where she has applied her skills and knowledge in Permaculture, Medicinal plants and Biodynamics. During that time she has apprenticed with Rocio Alarcon working together to teach ancestral ways of healing with plants. She has also been studying Cultural Regeneration and Peace making with The 8 shields Institution while Home Educating her two sons. She enjoys harvesting with the seasons, cultivating organic home grown food, living in yurts and music |
